Hear four local poets read their own work and poems that inspired Elgar.

Peter Sutton, author of the play Elgar and Alice
Michale Wyndham Thomas, poet, novelist, reviewer for the Times Literary Supplement

Tickets £10, to include interval refreshments (available from the Elgar School of Music on 01905 28613 or enquiries@elgarschoolofmusic.org.uk – credit card payments will incur a 40p additional charge to cover costs)
Venue: The Lumby Recital Room, The Elgar School of Music 7.30pm

The Elgar Festival of musical and other events aims to bring Elgar to a wider audience and is supported by the Elgar School of Music, the English Symphony Orchestra, The Firs (Birthplace of Edward Elgar) and the Elgar Society
